education And qualifications
At school, I was very passionate about the English, music and drama subjects. I was interested in going into the health sector but wanted a job that incorporated my areas of interest. I found that Speech Pathology is the perfect balance of science, language and imagination.
I love working with a family holistically. Communication looks different for everyone so it’s imperative to work with a client and their family to identify their goals and what is important for them.
I loved to read as a child and would read any picture book. As I got older and started reading chapter books, the Geronimo Stilton series was highly engaging because it incorporated pictures and used different fonts and colours in the text.
